We take web search further, away from endless lists of blue text links and towards a more intuitive experience. We want you to get a good overview of a subject, find useful information and be inspired with Spezify [...] We mix all media types and make no difference between blogs, videos, microblogs and images. Everything communicates and helps building the bigger picture.

Cook is a great manager, a whiz when it comes to managing supply chains and keeping the trains running on time. He is vital to Apple. Jobs cannot do what he does. But neither can Cook do what Jobs does. The fact is, Apple needs both of them. Forgive me for the analogy I am about to make—but if you’ve seen the latest Star Trek movie, then you might understand how Cook and Jobs work together. Cook is Spock: low-key, cerebral, methodical. He’s the Apollonian counterpart to Kirk, the Dionysian hothead. Kirk is impulsive—but nobody would deny that he, not Spock, should be captain of the ship.

With the new iPhone 3GS comes a smart voice control system to ask you iPhone to do some basic tasks. At first I though it was a pretty much useless feature, but actually I’m using it more and more; not having to get your phone from your pocket while your walking is very comfortable.

So, to give you an example, as I was walking in the street with my headset on the other day, I held the button on my headset for about one second to activate the voice control and just said:

— Shuffle.

— No music is playing, do you want to play music now?

— Yes.

— Shuffle on.

The music started playing as expected. Then, I needed to call to my friend Nicolas, and without getting my phone out of my pocket, I said:

— Call Nicolas.

— Home or mobile?

— Mobile.

— Calling Nicolas, mobile.

Neat! When I hung up, the music started playing back again with a smooth fade in, and as I wanted to listen to something else, I said:

— Play more songs like this.

— Playing Genius playlist based on “In The Air Tonight” by Phil Collins.

And the Genius playlist started to play.

There is a lot more actions you can do with voice control, and I haven’t learned all of them yet. The nice thing is when you trigger voice control the list of commands would scroll on the screen; no need to read the manual. Also, voice control supports about 20+ languages.

It’s things like that that makes this product very polished.

MMS has been around for more that 7 years but so badly implemented into devices that it was simply unusable.

It’s crazy! We had to wait for Apple to show these guys how to do it right. And It might be so successful that AT&T is not even sure its network would handle the load. Pathetic.
