2008 was a great year. It’s been a pleasure to be in Montreal and part of one of the fastest growing tech community. We had tons of exciting conferences and gatherings, more than I could expect. I met incredible people and made new friends.
2008 saw the growth of next-gen mobile platforms with the iPhone and Android, who both shaked an entire industry and created formidable new opportunities.
Social medias grew even bigger and it was great to witness the battle of the giants. Twitter, my favorite, has changed the way people connect and it was inspiring to be one of the early adopter.
This year again, Apple hasn’t disapointed me. They’ve released game-changing products and are stronger than ever. I can’t wait to see what will come in 2009.
Working in a startup is not easy everyday. We faced a lot of challenges in my company — with hard times — but we finally released our first product. We’re proud that it was very well received by our users, and we thanks all of them.
Of course, we won’t stay here and 2009 will bring even more challenges as we built our next product.
I’d like to thanks all the great people I’ve met this year and I wish everybody the best for 2009.

Just read it, it's a very good wrap up of 2008. You're absolutely right, the Internet is still the most exciting technology around. The amount of services and innovations that grew on top of it is absolutely fantastic.
