Google finally launched its first mobile device embedding Android. We all agree, it’s no iPhone; it’s not that pretty, got flaws and lack some hardware capabilities but it has a lot of potential, the potential to become the de-facto OS for smartphones — and probably low-end devices.
Actually, Android is more a threat to RIM, Microsoft or Nokia than it is to Apple, because it targets their market. Android being free, I’m pretty sure we’ll see it in a lot of phones coming from Chinese manufacturers; in the end, a big win for Google since more people would use its services.

Will you still be working on TwitterDroid? Does it work with Android SDK 1.0's emulator?

TwitterDroid does not work yet for SDK 1.0 but I'm working on a port. Google changed lots of APIs, not always easy to dig into the documentation looking for changes.

Excellent! Thank you for that. I've setup a GitHub account for TwitterDroid development. If you want to participate, you're welcome,
