Introducing Twittercal: Send Events to your Google Calendar from Twitter
Twittercal is a free service that connects your Google Calendar to Twitter so you can add events in a snap right from your favorite client.
Setting up the service is quite easy, just go on twittercal.com and follow the 5 steps procedure.
I’ve been working on Twittercal on my spare time for the last couple of weeks. The service is still in beta due to frequent changes in the Twitter API. I would appreciate your comments about the service so I can improve its reliability.
You can follow it on twitter.com/twittercal.
Enjoy.

Many thanks to Daniel Gerges for his great feedback and his help to debug the service this morning.
Thanks to Alex Payne from Twitter for his quick answer.
Thanks to Yusuke Yamamoto for Twitter4J.
De rien et bonne chance à Twittercal!
[…] Fred Brunel has launched this weekend twittercal, an app that lets you create events in your Google Calendar with twitter. For instance, a “tweet” like this: d gcal Montreal Tech Entrepreneur Breakfast on Tuesday, 14th of august at 9am would add the event at the MTW calendar. I wrote “would” because there is some latency and i am still waiting for it to appear on gCal. […]
Congrats on launching this app Fred, looks great
Thanks Marc-Andre.
