Now that non-geeks businesses such as Le Monde are joining Twitter, I guess other companies will follow shortly.
Yesterday, while I was playing with Twitter and looking for people, I was surprised (not that much actually) to discover place holders for popular companies like Coca Coca or Pepsi.
Will Twitter accounts sell like domain names? Remember the guys that got rich by selling popular domains to their respective companies.
It might be the start of a new gold fever for opportunists.

I think you’ve a very good point. Could be called twittersquatting. If audience continues to grow, all brands are going to want to be on it. And yes they’re going to have to pay for those who are late
